Our annual general meeting is where we elect members to the committee as well as discuss what we have achieved in the past year. We will be holding the 2021 AGM on Zoom again, on Tuesday 13th July at 7:30pm. The meeting will be open to all branch members, any non members wishing to attend must register to join BECTU before the day of the meeting.
This year Paul Evans (BECTU Research Officer) will be giving a talk on HMRC’s recent ‘IR35’ legislation, and what this means for workers in post-production. There will also be a time limited opportunity for questions.
If you have items or topics you would like to have added to the agenda or suggestions for what the committee should be working on in the coming year, please email secretary@theroughassembly.com. An Agenda for the meeting will be sent out in due course.
If you would like to join the committee please register your interest by using the below form. You will then receive a code to access candidate tickets on the eventbrite. You must register your interest before midnight on Friday 9th July to be considered.
To attend as an observer please get a free ticket via eventbrite. You must be a branch member or have registered to join BECTU before the day of the meeting.
