Did you know that BECTU is a sector within the union Prospect?
Prospect is the union that you are a member of, it’s made up of a mix of workers in many industries outside of the arts. It is run by the Prospect National Executive Committee, a team of 28 union members elected by their peers. The NEC is currently made up of 5 members from BECTU and 23 members from other sectors of Prospect.
The Prospect NEC is elected every 2 years with elections taking place this March. We will have the chance to nominate candidates at this general meeting then, once nominations close, members have a…
