Reporting the Low Rate

Please use this Low Rates Reporting Form to report productions that are offering below going rates or undermining collective bargaining agreements including the TV Drama Agreement or Major Motion Picture Agreement. ​Reporting low rates to Bectu allows us to ensure that we can protect ourselves and each other from exploitation and undercutting. We are stronger together and we can unite to hold the rate.

Your submission will be passed onto the Committee and Bectu for our records and will be anonymous. Please provide as much information as possible. If you would like us to, we can warn our members of the rate through our anonymous low rate email template (in the form).​

Get urgent support

Speak to our Bectu Official Meriel Beale via lpd@bectu.org.uk or on 0300 600 1878 and press 3 for specialised one-to-one support and urgent advice on rate queries, negotiations, communicating with employers, legal rights and employment law. Meriel can also speak to the employer on your behalf (optional) if you would like further support.

Please send your membership number, a summary of the issue, with a timeline if appropriate, along with a copy of your contract/deal memo and any relevant correspondence, screenshots or notes.​ Please mark urgent queries with URGENT and a clear subject line.
