The Prospect Benevolent Fund - Members facing financial distress can apply for a grant to cover critical expenses from our parent union Prospect’s benevolent fund. Download this form (you will need to log in as a member), fill it in and attach it in an email to BenevolentFund@prospect.org.uk. Members who want to support union colleagues suffering hardship can donate by paying into Account No: 20062028, Sort code: 608301.

Membership Subscription - Contact the membership team on 020 7346 0900 (office hours, Mon-Fri) or email membership@bectu.org.uk if become unemployed to reduce your rate to £5 per month.

Stop Gap Grants from the Film & TV Charity - People working behind the camera in film or TV can apply for Stop Gap Grants of up to £750 (for urgent financial needs). Applications can be made over the phone on 0800 054 0000 or by starting a live chat via the website.

ScreenSkills Bursary - a cash grant to help remove the obstacles to getting into the screen industries or progressing your career once you are in. You can apply for money to pay for most things that relate to work and continuing professional development, such as training fees, accommodation, care, disability access costs, equipment, software, and travel.
